Ogilvy Malta stewarded Maltacom Group’s brands for over 10 years.
The agency provided consultancy during the Government privatisation process to merge Datastream and Maltanet, two Maltacom subsidiaries. The newly merged company was launched nationally in January 2006.
Ogilvy Malta’s role was to develop the new brand mission, brand and corporate identities, positioning and brand values. The client commissioned a brand identity manual, a brand pre-launch and launch campaign as well as online and collateral support. This work was commissioned in the light of a new, international, strategic partner for the Maltacom Group.
The Group sought, therefore, to maximise brand equity from their new ‘Triple Play’ telco operation. Ogilvy Malta formed part of the Ogilvy telco task force that handles 35 telco brands worldwide. This task force is a professional discipline within Ogilvy.
